The first installment in a series of posts, pictures, and video from The Traveler’s recent trip to Washington DC to be a part of the historic few days – an American Pilgrimage – celebrating not just the inauguration of Barack Obama as the nation’s 44th president, but also of very idea of American democracy.
By Monday mid-afternoon, Washington was simply giddy with excitement. This happy couple reflects the general mood of the day.
